Rite Aid
“Flu” Campaign

Ambient / Broadcast / POP

Why get your flu shot at Rite Aid? Because 64 percent of people didn’t.

One of them is six feet away. In line. On the bus. At work.

All it takes is one sneeze.

We wanted to create work that made that risk impossible to ignore.

Rite Aid “Carriers” // Broadcast and Online

To raise awareness around flu shots at Rite Aid, we created a motion-detected point-of-purchase display that released a light mist when shoppers walked by. The headline read, “Congrats, you probably just got the flu,” using humor and surprise to spark conversation and drive action.

We placed camouflaged stickers on high-touch surfaces where people are most likely to pick up flu-causing germs. Each sticker was applied with double-sided tape, allowing it to transfer onto a person while using a shopping cart or elevator.
